Irene was born on October 15, 1914 and passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.

Irene was a resident of Janesville, Illinois at the time of her passing.

Irene graduated from Janesville High School in 1932 and went on to further her education at Mankato Teacher's College where she earned her teaching degree.

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 19th at 11:00 a.m. at St Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church in Alma City Interment will be in the Alma City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Janesville, and will continue on Monday morning for one hour prior to services, at church.
